Job Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Exploration Geologist at ELITech Earth Science Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata.
Responsibilities:
The Exploration Geologist will be responsible for geological mapping, logging, drilling, core logging, geochemistry, and data interpretation.
The Exploration Geologist will also be responsible for field mapping, drill program planning and management, sample collection and analysis, and report preparation.
Qualifications:
3 to 4 years Experience in geological mapping, logging, drilling, core logging, and geochemistry
Ability to interpret data and prepare reports
Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools
Hands on experience in Surpac/Minex software for geological modelling for resource estimation, prepare geological section/plates.
Experience in planning and executing drilling programs
Ability to work effectively in a team and in a challenging environment
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience in the mineral exploration industry is preferred
